I do take commissions and am happy to provide quotes.  My price is based on the amount of time/materials it takes to create a piece.  I can create any type of plushie (not just ponies) and have designed toys ranging in 6" high to almost 5 feet high so feel free to contact me if you have a character or vision of something you would like to bring to life.

Well, I'm very excited to join this community of incredibly creative people and thanks so much to those who have welcomed me here!  I have had a passion for toys and in particular, all things equine related since I was a child, so of course, I'm a huge MLP fan.  My mother taught me how to sew, practically out of the cradle and I have been doing it ever since on and off for the last 30 years.

My Plushies:

I do sell my plushies and I have done so in the past at anime/comic conventions and plan to do so going forward, when I have the time.   Plushie design is more something that I do for fun as I have another business that I run.  I view selling my plushies as a fun way to share my art and also fund my eternal toy addiction:  both for making them and collecting them.  Price list and commission status is posted now!

My Process:

All of the patterns have been designed by me.  I may sell them in the future but I have not decided yet.  Each pony takes me 20 plus hours with the complex large ones like Princess Celestia taking up to 40 hours to complete.  I hand build each skeleton, insuring that it is tight - so that the ponies can even grip a shoulder as you walk around with them and then have to insure that each skeleton is properly wrapped so the pony is totally and completely cuddly (a requirement for any plushie!).  I currently outsource all my embroidery work which adds to the cost to make each pony ($25-$32 just for embroidery per pony) but I am looking into learning how to do it myself if my basic little brother embroidery machine is up to the task.  Fingers crossed!

I LOVE little details and I design my ponies with lots of features like magnetic, interchangeable wings, bendable ears, wire curled manes, open mouth smiles, magnetic removable hats/yokes and soon-to-be clothing, hand bedazzled manes, hand-painted tiaras, etc.  The more elaborate they are, the more time involved, but I love doing it so it's worth every second to me!

I am in the process of designing a simpler, smaller and much less expensive pony so watch for updates.

Thank you so much for stopping by and liking my fan art.  It's a pleasure to share it with you all and I'm enjoying viewing and commissioning your creative work too ^^
